Square poles are better than round poles because their square shape provide more rigidity and strength. The iHoop features a two-piece 4” square pole design to maximize backboard rigidity and stability.
First “The Beast”, now the iHoop, they are the first portable backboard systems to provide full glass backboard performance in a portable system. The iHoop features a 54” x ¼” full tempered glass backboard enclosed in a steel backboard frame. The full glass backboard provides maximum playing performance and a true ball rebound.
The iHoop is easily moveable using Spalding’s “Tip & Roll” portability mechanism. Two oversized wheels make rolling the iHoop away after a game quick and convenient.
Spalding’s exclusive ScrewJack lift system makes rim height adjustments easy. With a simple turn of a handle, the rim height is infinitely adjustable from 7-10 feet for all skill levels. The adjustment handle can also be removed for storage during play and to prevent tampering.
The Arena Slam breakaway rim is designed to flex when pressure is applied, helping to relieve stress from the backboard during game play. The Arena Slam rim features institutional style wrap steel support braces and steel rams that maximize durability and rim support. A Steel box cover encloses all of breakaway rim components, optimizing aesthetics and safety.
